Welcome to Poole SCITT, Dorset. Although our base is in Poole, we work with schools and trainees across the whole of the Dorset area. We are an innovative and highly respected initial teacher training (ITT) provider, which is passionate about training outstanding primary school teachers. Thanks to our small cohorts, our trainees receive high-quality support and care, including for their personal and emotional well-being. Our ambition is to ensure that every Poole SCITT graduate is able to be a confident and inspirational teacher of any child, in any school. The Poole SCITT tailored experience, enables our trainees to not only succeed, but thrive in, what we believe to be, one of the best jobs in the world.

This is what Ofsted found during our most recent inspection, "Trainees flourish in this SCITT. Trainees at Poole School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) are well prepared for the next stage of their careers. They are well supported, both at the centre and on placement, towards becoming confident and competent teachers. Headteachers are keen to recruit trainees. Many trainees go on to have fulfilling careers, including aspiring to leadership positions, in local schools."
